How is this different from DraftKings or FanDuel?
Those are daily fantasy games with strangers and real money gambling. Friends & Family Golf is a private season-long pick'em league you run with your own group — family, friends, coworkers. No gambling, no strangers, no daily grind. One pick per week, compete all season against people you actually know.
Do I need to know golf to play?
Not really. If you know the names of a few PGA Tour players, you can play. The leaderboard shows you who's performing well each week and your standings update automatically. Plenty of casual golf fans do great because they pay attention to the big names.
How many people can join my league?
Up to 20 members per league by default, though commissioners can adjust this. One $24.99 season pass covers your entire league regardless of size — you're not paying per member.
What happens if I miss a week and don't make a pick?
You just earn $0 for that tournament. Picks lock before Round 2 each week, so if you forget, you miss that week. Commissioners can enter picks on behalf of members if needed.
When does the season start and end?
The 2026 PGA Tour season runs from the Sony Open in Hawaii (January) through the BMW Championship (August). That's roughly 35 tournaments. The FedEx Cup Playoffs and Tour Championship are not included — the season wraps at BMW.
Can I run more than one league?
Yes. Create as many leagues as you want from one account — a family league, a work league, a group chat league. Each one has separate picks, standings, and settings. Each league requires its own season pass.
Is the Masters really included in the free trial?
Yes. The first two tournaments after your league is created are free. If you create your league before Masters week, you get Masters picks included. After the second free tournament, you'll need a season pass to continue.
